Amelia Hope Reitz

Amelia Hope Reitz, 12, of Shamokin Township, entered the presence of her Savior on Saturday, July 12, 2025. Born November 16, 2012, in Harrisburg, she was a daughter of Andy and Taryn (Beaver) Reitz. 

Amelia was a beloved 7th grader at Northumberland Christian School, known for her kindness, compassion, and bright spirit.  A faithful member of Cornerstone Calvary Fellowship in Augustaville, Amelia’s strong faith and joyful presence touched many. She was a shining light for Jesus. She loved singing, art, and reading Percy Jackson books, as well as cooking, baking bread, and playing soccer. Amelia will be remembered for her loving heart, infectious smile, and the light she brought to everyone around her. Her memory lives on in the countless lives she touched.

Amelia will be lovingly remembered by her parents, Andy and Taryn; siblings, Isaac, Tabitha, and Isaiah Reitz; paternal grandparents, Lloyd and Pamela Reitz, maternal grandparents, Perry and Gail Beaver, and her uncles, aunts, and cousins. She was preceded in death by a brother, Andrew Paul II.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church, 12 Brookside Dr. Danville, PA where the family will receive relatives and friends from 9:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will follow at Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington. Arrangements are entrusted to the Foust Funeral Home, LLC, Trevorton. A memory tribute may be placed at www.foustcares.com.
