Betty E. (Rebuck) Lenker

Betty E. (Rebuck) Lenker, 87, of Hunter Station, passed away Thursday, August 21, 2025 at the Mansion nursing home in Sunbury. Betty was born on November 7, 1937 in Dornsife, a daughter of the late Alma (Long) and Russel Rebuck.

On January 1, 1970 she married William (Bill) Lenker who predeceased her in death on September 19, 2011. She was also predeceased by a brother, Mark Rebuck and a brother-in-law, Roy Paul.

She was a graduate of Trevorton High School, class of 1955. Betty was a factory worker for Shroyer’s and Dalmatia Blouse factory. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Hunter Station and attended Augustaville Wesleyan Church, Paxinos. Betty was also a member of Gratz Antique Machinery Association and the Herndon Senior Center. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, working puzzles, and would never miss stopping once a week at Coney Island after shopping.

Betty is survived by her sister, Marlene Paul, niece Debbie (Bruce) Weaver, sister-in-law, Charlene (Jack) Cristy and her God Child, Marianne Stehr.

The family would like to thank all the staff at Sunbury Mansion for assisting in Betty’s care.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 25, 2025 at 11:00am at Emmanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery, 5933 Rt 225, Shamokin, Pa 17872 (Hunter Station) with pastor Greg Clendaniel officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Foust Funeral Home, LLC. Trevorton, Ryan G. Foust, supervisor. A memory tribute may be placed at www.foustcares.com.
