Daniel L. Alexander

Daniel L. Alexander, 76, of Trevorton passed away on December 25, 2025 at his residence. He was the beloved husband of Carol (Moyer) Alexander sharing over 54 years of loving marriage. Born on November 14, 1949 in Sunbury, he was a son of the late Victor and Gladys (Long) Alexander.

Dan was a 1969 graduate of Line Mountain High School. He began his career as a truck driver before opening his own business, Dan’s Auto Sales in Trevorton, which he owned and operated for over 30 years until his retirement. An avid outdoorsman, Dan especially enjoyed salmon fishing and whitetail deer hunting. He also spent many years as a stream fishing guide in Pulaski, New York. Dan was a life member of the Zerbe Township Rod and Gun Club and the Fiddlers Run Sportsmen Association.

Dan will be lovingly remembered by his wife Carol; a daughter, Heather Alexander and her fiancé Joseph Petrovich of Marion Heights; a son, Eric Alexander and his wife Erin of Runnemede, NJ; six grandchildren, Ryan, Cole, Ava, Brandon, Brady, and Mackenzie; sisters, Linda Wolfe and her husband Dwight Sr., Sharon Sebasovich, and Virginia Foura and her husband Elwood.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Foust Funeral Home, LLC. 841 W. Shamokin St. Trevorton PA 17881, Ryan G. Foust, supervisor. A memory tribute may be placed at www.foustcares.com.
