Faye I. (Troutman) Hornberger, 80, of Millersburg, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at the Lancaster Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Faye is survived by her brother Mark Troutman; two sons, Dale A. (Kelley) and George D. (Kristan) Hornberger; her daughter Kelli L. Hornberger; her three grandchildren, Dustin G. Hornberger, Brianna M. Hornberger, and Mah’Siah R. Walker; and her great grandson Hudson C. Hess. She was preceded in death by her husband George C. Hornberger, whom she was married to for 54 years. Also, preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Allman and Greta Defibaugh and one brother Robert Troutman.
Faye was born November 4, 1945 to Grant L. Troutman and Gertie E. Lenker. She went to Mahanoy Joint High School and graduated in 1963. She worked at Puritan Fashions Corporation, Kinney Shoe Company in Millersburg, and Advanced Scientifics in Millersburg where she retired from.
Faye was a devoted mother and wife and enjoyed attending and supporting their activities. She also helped the local Millersburg Band boosters throughout the late 90s and early 2000s. She enjoyed attending the Millersburg Area High School band concerts and marching band competitions as well as the Millersville University marching band competitions.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 20th at Foust Funeral Home, LLC 841 W. Shamokin St., Trevorton, PA. A viewing will be from 12:00 – 1:00 P.M. until time of services at 1:00 P.M. Burial will follow in St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery West Cameron.
