Garry G. Rebuck Sr., 81, of Paxinos, passed away on May 28, 2026 at his residence. Garry was the beloved husband of Grace (Danley) Rebuck sharing over 60 years of loving marriage. Born on February 25, 1945 in Urban, he was a son of the late Galen and Martha (Bingaman) Rebuck.
Garry dedicated much of his life to hard work, beginning his career in the coal mines and later farming. He eventually became a truck driver and retired from Waste Management after several years of service. Garry was known as a true jack of all trades and was especially proud of being the best jerky maker around. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and visiting the casino. Garry was a faithful member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Hunter Station, a life member of Keystone Fish and Game, and a former member of the Odd Fellows.
Garry will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Grace; children, Tehani Shingara (Daniel), Garry Rebuck Jr., Robin Lazicki (David), Yvonne McGrath (Charles), Barry Rebuck (Pamela), and Larry Rebuck (Dana); 12 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren; brother, Jacob Rebuck; sisters, Regina Snyder, Faye Snyder, and Marion Troller. He was predeceased by his brothers, Donald Rebuck Sr., Clarence Rebuck, Harry Rebuck and Matthew Rebuck; sisters, Cora Lesher, Florence Reubendall, and Nancy Wacker.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 31, 2026 at 3:00 PM at Zion Lutheran Church, 603 W Market St, Trevorton, PA 17881 where the family will receive relatives and friends from 1:00 PM until the time of service, with Pastor Michael Jarrett officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Foust Funeral Home, LLC, Trevorton. A memory tribute may be placed at www.foustcares.com.
