Gary Wayne Gaugler, 74, of Sunbury, passed away on May 6, 2026 at Geisinger, Danville. Gary was the beloved husband of Jane (Snyder) Gaugler sharing over 53 years of loving marriage. Born on January 15, 1952 in Sunbury, he was a son of the late Elvin Gaugler and Faye (Watts) Harris.
Gary worked as a truck driver throughout his entire career, retiring from Eastern Industries after many years of dedicated service. He was a member of the Tall Cedars of Lebanon 465, the Herndon Masonic Lodge, and Keystone Fish and Game. Gary enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching racing, especially spending that time with his grandson.
Gary will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Jane; daughter, Kimberly Long and her husband Jeremy; grandchildren, Abbigail and Zackary Long; stepmother, Virginia Gaugler; siblings, Diane Lash, Liz Keister, Bruce Spotts, and Bill Harris. He was preceded in death by his daughter Wendy Gaugler and brothers, Eugen Gaugler and Geroge Spotts.
