Geraldine H. (Dormer) Shipe

Geraldine Helen (Dormer) Shipe, 76, of Trevorton, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 17, 2025 in the care of Mountain View A Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Geraldine was the widow of Donald L. Shipe who passed away on March 19, 2022. Born on September 18, 1948 in Shamokin, she was a daughter of the late Louie and Frances (Kuklinski) Neidig and her biological father Joseph Dormer.

Geraldine was a devoted and loving homemaker, always putting her family first. After raising her children, she dedicated many years working at Paper Magic and Knoebels before retiring. She found great joy in playing BINGO and card games, and she cherished the bus trips she took with her late husband. One of her favorite pastimes was visiting Knoebels, where she would listen to music and dance. A free spirit and an animal lover, Geraldine treasured every moment spent with her family, creating memories that will forever be cherished.

Geraldine will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Donna Klinger, of Trevorton; sons, Donald and his wife Janene Shipe, of Paxinos, and Ronald Shipe, of Trevorton; grandchildren, Courtney and her husband Nate Rothermel, Collin and his girlfriend Bree Pietkiewicz, Jadyn, Jace, Delaney, Dalila and Lucas; great granddaughters, Arianna Pietkiewicz and Everly Klinger. She was predeceased by her son, Anthony A. Dormer.
