Helen C. (Belskie) Leader, 90, of Trevorton, passed away Thursday December 4, 2025 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. She was the widow of Gerald L. “Boo” Leader who passed away in 2010. Helen was born on August 10, 1935 in Ranshaw, a daughter of the late Walter and Frances (Pajka) Belskie.
Helen was a loving and caring homemaker who always put her family first. She was a faithful member of the Trevorton United Methodist Church. She enjoyed cheering for the Phillies, watching polkas, and spending peaceful hours under her pavilion, feeding the birds and finding comfort in the outdoors. Helen was known for her warm hospitality and always had food on the table for anyone who stopped by.
Helen will be lovingly remembered by her sons and daughters-in-law, George and Teresa Leader, of Halifax, Jerry "Bae" and Karen Leader, of Mechanicsburg, James and Chris Leader, of Herndon, and Walter "Wally" and Brenda Leader, of Hummelstown; grandchildren, Sandi, George M., Jay, Tracy, Todd, Jennifer, Julie, Joseph and Alexandra; 16 great-grandchildren; brothers, Michael Belskie and Edward “Snookie” Belskie; a sister, Rita Hardyman; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her grandson, Jonathan; a great great grandson; and 6 brothers and sisters.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Foust Funeral Home, LLC. 841 W. Shamokin St. Trevorton, with a visitation from 10:00 AM until the time of service with pastors Ricky Ney and Beverly Petrovich officiating. Burial will follow at Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington. A memory tribute may be placed at www.foustcares.com.
