Inez E. Swinehart

Inez E. (Mariano) Swinehart, 71, of West Cameron, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 6, 2025. Inez was the widow of Harry Robert Swinehart Jr. who passed away in 1981. She is the beloved companion of Billie Miller sharing over 40 years together. Born on June 16, 1953 in Bloomsburg, she was a daughter of the late Nicholas and Ellen (Miles) Mariano.

Inez was a 1971 graduate of Mt. Carmel High School. She was a loving homemaker who always put her family first, creating a warm and welcoming home filled with love and laughter. Later, she dedicated her time to caring for others as a CNA at Ann Joachim House before retiring.

Inez had a passion for life and enjoyed gardening, reading, scrapbooking, and creating beautiful crafts. She had a deep love for animals and always made time to stay in touch with her friends. Above all, she treasured every moment spent with her family and those she held dear.

Inez will be lovingly remembered by her companion, Billie; son, Jeffrey Swinehart and his wife Gabrielle of Tamaqua; daughter, Megan Miller of Kulpmont; grandchildren, Katie Miller, Mallory Shandis, Harry Swinehart, Jonas Swinehart, and Eli Swinehart; sister, Pamela and Thomas Ciccarino of Montville, NJ; nephews, Nicholas, Brent, Tyler, and Patrick Ciccarino. She was predeceased by her husband, Harry; son-in-law, Shaun Miller; granddaughter, Sarah Miller; and sister, Alice Garner.
