LillieBelle M. (Houser) Straub

LillieBelle Madeline Straub (Houser), 95, of Trevorton, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2026, at home where she lived with her daughter for many years in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania. Born in Trevorton, Pennsylvania, LillieBelle lived a long and full life centered on the people she loved most. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William “Hook” Straub.

LillieBelle was a sweet and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose warmth and sense of humor brought joy to all who knew her. She had a love for laughter and treasured the time she spent with family and friends. Whether she was fishing, hunting, or crocheting, she found happiness in all she did and in the company of those she loved.

She is survived by her children: John Straub and his wife Sandy, Daniel Straub and his wife Bonnie, and Susan Straub. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Crystale Straub-Moyer (Keith Moyer), John “JD” Straub (Shelley Straub), Rachel Taylor (Jeff Taylor), and Rebecca Martin (Mike Martin). She also leaves behind her cherished great-grandchildren: Cole, Cora, and Cooper Moyer; Nolan, Olivia, and Marcella Taylor; and Colton and Paisley Martin.

LillieBelle’s legacy is one of love, laughter, and deep family connection. She will be remembered for the joy she brought into every room and the lasting impact she made on generations of her family.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Foust Funeral Home LLC, 841 W. Shamokin St. Trevorton with a viewing from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will follow at Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery, Trevorton.  A memory tribute may be placed at www.foustcares.com.
