Nancy R. (Carl) Rebuck

Nancy Rebecca (Carl) Rebuck, 90, of 2872 State Route 225, Herndon PA passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, May 10, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Nancy was born August 10, 1934 in Herndon, the daughter of James and Bertha (Zeiders) Carl, the only daughter of 9 children. On July 1, 1952, she married the love of her life, Robert W (Bingo) Rebuck. They were blessed to share 61 years of marriage prior to him preceding her in death in 2014.

Nancy was employed by Marvin Klinger Bussing as a school bus driver for 30 plus years, during which time she garnered the adoration and appreciation of many school students, especially the Line Mountain High School girl’s sports participants. In addition, she worked for Troutman’s Food Services.

She was a member of Seiberts EC Church in Herndon until its closing, at which time she began attending Trinity County Line Church in Dalmatia. Nancy enjoyed a full life full of travel, family and fun. She enjoyed creating and painting ceramics, traveling all over the world (especially on cruise ships), quilting (she hand quilted over 120 quilts which she gifted to family and friends), spending time with family, and gardening (both vegetables and flowers). She also loved helping others, having faithfully donated blood, reaching ‘galloneer status’. Nancy was a member of the Idella Rebekah Lodge, Dornsife PA where she served as Noble Grand, District Deputy President, and achieved Declaration of Chivalry honor.

Nancy is survived by 2 daughters, 1 son-in-law and 1 son, 1 daughter-in-law; Joyce Sites of Herndon, Margaret (Jack) Geyer of Halifax and Dale (Karen) Rebuck of Herndon. 7 Grandchildren who lovingly called her Nanna; Desiree Geyer, Dale Rebuck Jr, Brandi Geyer-Wilbert, Jaime Lyter, Crystal Mease, Jesse Geyer, and Mandy Rebuck. A brother; Larry (Norma) Carl. 13 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her beloved husband, she was preceded in death by an infant son, granddaughter Mindy Geyer, son-in-law George Sites, her parents, and 7 brothers.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Foust Funeral Home, LLC. 841 W. Shamokin St. Trevorton, with a viewing from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will follow at Himmel’s Church Cemetery. A memory tribute may be placed at www.foustcares.com.
