Thomas John Yoncuski, 67, of Shamokin, passed away on April 2, 2026 at his residence with his family by his side. Born on July 31, 1958, in Shamokin, he was a son of the late Frank and Mary (Shicora) Yoncuski.
Tom was a 1977 graduate of Lourdes. He worked in construction for many years until his retirement. He was a member of Mother Cabrini Catholic Church in Shamokin, as well as the Zerbe Rod & Gun Club and the union county Sportsman’s Club, Tom cherished the time he spent with his bear camp buddies and was a true outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being at camp. He also valued the camaraderie he shared with his barbershop guys.
Tom is survived by his daughter, Elaine Yoncuski and her husband Eric Hoffman of Harrisburg; brothers, Robert Yoncuski (Vanessa), and James (Sue); sisters, Marianne Adams, Sharon Rosini, Rita Deklinski (Brian), and Theresa Kovalick (Greg); ex-wife, Connie Dindorf; a sweet niece, Brandie Yoncuski; house boy and nephew Ryan Yoncuski, best buddy and nephew Randy Deklinski nephews Roman and Kyle Deklinski and many more nieces and nephews and a dear neighbor Dean Wheary. He was predeceased by his brother Daniel Yoncuski.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church, 214 N Shamokin St, Shamokin, PA 17872. Also, a celebration of life party will be held on August 2, 2026 at 12:00 PM at Fairview Gun Club, 2147 W State St, Coal Township, PA 17866. Arrangements are entrusted to the Foust Funeral Home, LLC, Trevorton. A memory tribute may be placed at www.foustcares.com.
