William “Bill” Clair Wilkinson, Sr., 88, of Trevorton, passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at his residence. Born on January 13, 1937 in Danville, he was the son of the late Clair and Mable V. (Reider) Wilkinson. Bill was the beloved husband of Marianne (Rego) Wilkinson sharing over 66 years of loving marriage.
Bill was a 1954 graduate of Trevorton High School and spent many years working as a truck driver for Roadway Express before retiring. A devoted member of St. Patrick Church in Trevorton, he was active in both parish life and his community. He served on the board of directors for the Zerbe Township Recreation Committee, was a former township supervisor, and volunteered with the Trevorton Athletic Association. Bill was also a member of the Trevorton American Legion and the Knights of Columbus. A passionate Penn State fan, he will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his faith, family, and community.
Bill will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Linda Swinehart and her companion William Dubb, and Lori Andretta and her husband Mike Jr.; son, William Wilkinson II and his wife Gail; grandchildren, Michael Swinehart Jr., Jill Tice, Matthew Swinehart, and Mark Swinehart; 6 great grandchildren; sister, Catherine “Kay” Rebuck.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 331 W. Shamokin Street, Trevorton, PA, with the Rev. James Fukes, OFM, Conv. presiding. The family will receive relatives and friends at the church from 9:00 to 10:45 AM. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Foust Funeral Home, LLC, Trevorton. A memory tribute may be placed at www.foustcares.com.
